Vision

To disseminate new knowledge in the various branches of Sri Lanka Archaeology and create a discussion about Sri Lanka Archaeology by providing publicity for Sri Lanka Archaeology Information in national and international level.

Objectives

• Making those who are connected with and interested in archeological matters aware of archeological studies and research in Sri Lanka
• Creating a reserve (a bank) to conserve selected papers/ abridged studies (with their translations) of local archeologists
• Collecting information regarding archeological studies, research, tours and any local and international opportunities that are related to such matters and making it available to the general public
• Making available interviews and communications held with senior, young and professional archeologists on the subject and making them available on the internet to update the knowledge of the public regarding archeology (and sustain the norm of archeology)
• Creating a database that includes information regarding archeologists in Sri Lanka and making it available to the public
• A periodical related to archeological sector to be issued in parallel to the website and publish books on national heritage
• Introducing hitherto unknown national heritage sites and artistes to international arena
